As many of you may have seen, Hurricane Melissa caused significant damage across Jamaica, which unfortunately impacted Half Moon. We were recently notified that the resort will not be able to accommodate our wedding in 2026. We still very much wanted to be married in 2026 and were grateful to secure a new date—Friday, July 24, 2026—at <a href="https://www.chathambarsinn.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Chatham Bars Inn</a> in Chatham, Massachusetts. Cape Cod is a place that holds special meaning for us, where we’ve spent many summers with family and friends, and we’re so excited to share a piece of it with you all.

Thursday, July 23

The Pelham House Resort8:30-10:30pm Please join us for welcome drinks and light bites on Thursday, July 23 at Pelham House Resort in Dennis Port, Massachusetts. The celebration will take place on the beachfront patio, so please dress accordingly. We will still be embracing a beachy, resort-inspired aesthetic with a white-out theme for all guests, so please wear white! Dress Code: White-out! Resort Chic. Linen pants, button-down shirts, maxi or sundresses, or pants with blouses are all perfect choices. The event will be on the lawn, so sandals or block heels are recommended. As this will be a light reception, we recommend enjoying dinner in Chatham or Dennis beforehand. Shuttles will be available to bring guests staying in Chatham back to town after the event.

Where should I stay?

We have two room block options in the town of Chatham: one at our wedding venue, Chatham Bars Inn, and another at a small boutique hotel, The Grayfinch Inn. You can access booking links for both under the “Hotel Accommodations” tab. If you prefer not to stay within the room blocks, there are many charming boutique hotels and smaller inns throughout Chatham and the surrounding beach towns. You can also find private homes and condos available for rent on VRBO and Airbnb.

Good to Know

Parking at most beaches requires a day feeArriving early is always a good idea. Bay-side beaches are best at low tide for tide pooling and perfect for sunset!Check tide charts before you go. Keep an eye out for wildlife!National Seashore beaches are home to seals (and sometimes sharks!). Check out the Sharktivity app to stay up to date on sightings. Several beaches are reachable by bike along the Rail Trail It can make a great day trip and help avoid parking.

Whydah Pirate Museum (South Yarmouth)Built around the wreck of a real pirate ship — fascinating for all ages.
